Cape Point is the southwestern tip of the Cape Peninsula, in the Table Mountain Nature Reserve. This extreme spot sits at the convergence of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, exposed to massive swells from all directions. Conditions are among the most committed in the world: enormous waves, violent currents, variable wind and freezing water. Navigation exclusively reserved for the most experienced experts. The beauty of the site matches its danger.
Extreme and unpredictable conditions. SW, S and SE swells converge around the cape. Waves of 2 to 6+ meters. Violent tidal currents between the two oceans. The spot only "works" for the most extreme experts in very specific conditions. Riding here is a very high-risk adventure.
