Mont Crosin is a large hill located behind the Chasseral. The spot is often well ventilated and works in almost all wind directions. It is easily accessible and does not require a long approach walk. In principle, you need to walk 1 kilometer on snowshoes or skins to reach the upper plateau; if you don't have snowshoes or skins, it's perfectly doable on foot by following the cross-country ski trail.

The parking is located just before the Hôtel Vert-Bois next to the garbage shed. Do not park in the spaces reserved for hotel guests, right in front of it.
The spot works more or less well in all wind directions except south or southwest. Indeed, Mont Crosin has no obstacles blocking the wind except the Chasseral to the southeast.
The spot is located in a wind farm; watch out for ice that can sometimes fall from the wind turbines. Normally, the turbine blades are higher than the kites, but it's best not to tempt fate.
