Tangier's main urban beach, right in the middle of the city's waterfront, east of the port and Marina. When the predominant Eastern wind (Levante) blows — the same as Tarifa across the Strait — you can catch nice freeride sessions.
Avoid in summer high season as the beach gets swamped with swimmers and beachgoers. Off-season, a convenient spot if you've just arrived in Morocco through Tangier.
Tangier is the gateway to Morocco from Europe, with regular ferries from Tarifa (Spain) — just a few miles across the Strait of Gibraltar.

E (Levante) wind dominant — same as Tarifa. Also N and NE. Strait of Gibraltar creates strong wind funneling. Variable and influenced by weather systems.
Very crowded in summer — avoid kitesurfing. Off-season only. Urban beach hazards (swimmers, boats). No kite infrastructure.
