I&J is a reef break between Kommetjie and Scarborough on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula. Named after the former I&J cannery nearby, this expert spot offers a powerful wave breaking on a rocky reef. The south-easterly Cape Doctor blows offshore, smoothing the waves. Extreme conditions reserved for experts with intimate knowledge of the reef.
Works with big SW swell and SE Cape Doctor. Waves 2-4+ m on rocky reef. Mid to high tide. Expert only.
