Plage Monaco (also known as Monaco Beach or La Voile d'Or) is located on the south coast of the Cap-Vert peninsula, in the Hann Bel Air district. This beach faces the bay of Dakar and Gorée Island, offering a more sheltered aspect than the north coast.

A popular urban beach with jet-ski rental, restaurants and beach bars. Kitesurf practice is possible but the space is shared with other water users. Wind conditions are best with NW-W thermal breezes in the afternoon.

Less consistent wind than Yoff/Ngor due to the southern exposure, but works well with westerly or NW wind directions. A good backup when the north coast is too rough.
