PK25 (Point Kilométrique 25) is the heart of the Dakhla kitesurf scene — a stretch of lagoon coastline 25 km from Dakhla town on the peninsula's eastern shore. This is where the highest concentration of kite camps and hotels is found, earning it the nickname of Dakhla's "kite strip".
The spot receives ALL wind orientations thanks to its position on the lagoon, making it one of the most versatile in Dakhla. Flat to choppy water depending on wind strength, obstacle-free, with shallow standing areas. Perfect for learning and progression — the lagoon here has no dangerous zones.
Multiple camps and centres line the shore: PK25 Hotel (boutique, all-inclusive, Cabrinha centre), Dakhla Attitude (sister hotel, Duotone Pro Center), plus several independent schools. 333 kiteable days per year. From PK25, excursions to all the other Dakhla spots: Speed Spot (10 min downwind), Dune Blanche, Pointe de l'Or, Dragon Island, Oum Labouir, oyster farm.

Very safe spot — no dangerous zones, shallow lagoon. Side-shore wind. 3 rescue boats covering the lagoon. Intense Saharan sun — protection mandatory. Can be crowded in peak season (hotel every 400m along PK25). Strong wind in summer (30-40 knots) — beginners should ride mornings.
