Trou d'Eau Douce is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Mauritius, facing Île aux Cerfs. The lagoon protected by the coral reef offers flat water conditions appreciated by kitesurfers. The southeast trade winds, dominant from June to November, blow onshore with an intensity of 15 to 25 knots. The body of water is suitable for beginners and intermediates thanks to the reef protection.
