Trianda (also known as Ialysos) is a spot on the northwest coast of Rhodes, part of the famous windsurf/kite strip stretching between Rhodes Town and Kremasti. Located between Ixia to the north and Kremasti to the south, Trianda offers the same powerful Meltemi conditions as its neighbors. The beach mixes pebbles and sand, lined by the coastal road and tourist infrastructure. The spot is popular for both windsurfing and kitesurfing with several schools and rental centers.
Trianda works with the NW Meltemi side-onshore, like the entire west coast corridor. Open riding area with chop and waves. Several water sports centers on the beach. Shared zone between windsurf and kitesurf. Conditions for intermediate to advanced riders. Works from June to September.
