Rena Majora is a wild and beautiful kitesurf spot on the north coast of Sardinia, near Santa Teresa di Gallura, in the area where the Maestrale is channelled at full force between Sardinia and Corsica. The long sandy beach is framed by dramatic granite rock formations and backed by Mediterranean scrubland. The Maestrale (northwest) and Levante (southeast) provide reliable and powerful wind. One of the most unspoilt beaches on the north Sardinian coast.

Parking at the end of a dirt track from the SP90 road near Santa Teresa di Gallura. No facilities on site — bring everything you need. Quieter than the main tourist beaches.
Strong Maestrale with gusts — the north Sardinian coastline amplifies the wind in this area. Rocky headlands on both sides of the beach. Boat traffic along the coast. No lifeguard service. Remote location — go with a buddy.
