Magic Pass

Overview

Nice freeride spot that you can access through the St-Luc ski resort (Magic pass). It is located on the right side of the ski area and is large to very large depending on wind conditions. The stronger the wind, the more you'll use the lower part of the spot; conversely, in light wind conditions, the upper part of the spot is much more favorable.
It's a spot with quite a bit of terrain variation which makes it very playful and really fun to ride. Rather an ideal spot for foil kites / 5th line. It is also possible to cross some mountain passes on the upper part of the spot, but this will depend on snow/wind conditions and your skill level.

Technical details of Saint-Luc spot

Spot functioning
Access through the ski resort via the funicular, then the drag lift when exiting the funicular, then cross the area to reach the rightmost drag lift of the domain. Once at the top, go down 200m then take the trail that goes left (when looking down toward the resort). Do not set up your kite on the ski run, do not cross the ski runs with your kite.

You need rather strong West, North-West wind forecasts for the spot to work.
Hazards
Freeride spot with quite a few obstacles, rocks, etc. On the upper part of the spot, the faces must be approached with respect depending on avalanche conditions.
