Overview

Hvide Sande South is the fjord side of the Hvide Sande spot, on the Ringkøbing Fjord. This flat water spot perfectly complements the North Sea side of Hvide Sande. It offers a perfect flat water lagoon with shallow waters and sandy bottom.

It's the ideal option for beginners and freestylers, or as an alternative in east winds when the north side is too rough.

Flat water in shallow conditions with large standing area. Sandy bottom. Ideal conditions for freestyle and learning. Maximum water temperature 17°C. Wetsuit recommended.

Parking accessible near the spot. Car or campervan recommended to access the area.

Wind specificities

All wind directions work except westerly winds. In west winds, head to the Kloster flat water spot. Best wind season: April to June and September to October.
