Haselbacher See is a lake located in eastern Thuringia, near the border with Saxony. This former open-pit mine lake offers an ideal body of water for kitesurfing and wingfoiling. Thermal winds blow regularly in summer, mainly from the west and southwest.The lake has a good rideable surface area and the accessible shores make launching easy.
