Year-round. Défi Wind event annually (spring). Access from CD 627 near oyster farm bridge, follow "Spot de la Corrège" signs.
Beginner
Grand étang water. Very shallow — feet everywhere on 250 m. Light chop by Tramontane — doesn't slow you down for speed. Flat by SE. Diverse: slalom, speed, freestyle, jump all possible. Safe for learning.
Access: CD 627 between Leucate Village and Port Leucate, near the oyster farm bridge. Follow "Spot de la Corrège" signs. Parking available. Restaurants nearby in Port Leucate.
Tramontane (NW): works well, light chop ideal for speed and slalom. Marin/SE/E: also good, flatter conditions. Fall-back spot when Tramontane too strong on exposed spots. Kite strictly prohibited — windsurf, wingfoil, windfoil, SUP only. Hosts the Défi Wind competition annually.
Kite FORBIDDEN for safety reasons. Windsurf, wingfoil, windfoil only. Shallow — feet everywhere. Oyster farm nearby — respect zones. Calm conditions, no major dangers.
