Spot de Punta de Jandia / Fuerteventura

Punta de Jandia / Fuerteventura

Punta de Jandia / Fuerteventura

Overview

Punta de Jandía is the southernmost tip of Fuerteventura, a wild and remote area at the end of the Jandía peninsula. The coastline here is dramatic, with strong currents, powerful waves, and open ocean exposure.

This is an extreme spot for expert riders only. The area is exposed to both Atlantic swell and strong trade winds. Access is difficult, infrastructure is non-existent, and conditions are unpredictable.

Punta de Jandía is more commonly visited by surfers than kitesurfers, but on the right day with the right conditions, it can offer spectacular wave riding.
