The Grosses Meer is a shallow lake located in East Frisia, Lower Saxony. This inland body of water is one of the few natural lakes in the region and offers a pleasant kitesurfing spot with a flat bottom and shallow water depth.West and southwest winds dominate and reach the lake well thanks to the flat surrounding terrain. The shallow water makes it a spot suited for beginners. However, be aware of nature protection zones around the lake.
