Mosca Point is a wave riding spot south of Pozo Izquierdo. The left-hand wave with side-offshore NE wind is only worthwhile when it's big (usually winter N/NE swell). Most riders sail here from Pozo rather than entering from shore.
The shore is shallow and rocky — extremely dangerous if you ride the wave too close. Experienced wave riders only.
Left-hand wave riding. Down-the-line with bottom turns. Access from Pozo. Only big swell days.
Open all year round
Winter mainly (N/NE swell). Wind year-round.
