Anholt is an isolated island in the middle of the Kattegat, between Denmark and Sweden. Thanks to its exposed position, the spot works with virtually all wind directions — you just need to choose the right beach. The main kite area is south of the harbour. The beaches are wide and sandy with a preserved natural setting. Average wind speed is 12 to 22 knots.

Chop, small to medium waves depending on wind strength. The island's offshore position almost always generates waves when wind is present. No tidal influence. Water temperature 12-17°C — wetsuit recommended year-round.
Strong currents on the south beach. Submerged rocks on some beaches (beaches near the harbour are cleaner). Island accessible only by ferry from Grenaa (one departure per day in the morning).
