Tug Hill Plateau is one of the best snowkite spots in the eastern United States, at 506 m elevation in northern New York State. This region receives the heaviest snowfall east of the Rockies thanks to the lake effect from Lake Ontario. The vast open fields and consistent winds make it a snowkite paradise.
