Mount Haggin is a snowkite spot at 1,820m in the Mount Haggin Wildlife Management Area, southwest of Anaconda. Vast open highland meadows with powerful westerly winds. One of Montana's largest wildlife management areas, offering a wild and pristine setting.

Wildlife management area — elk, deer, mountain lions, and potentially bears. Hypothermia from severe wind chill. Sudden blizzards. Isolation — wilderness area far from rescue. Westerly winds can be very strong and gusty.
Open highland meadows with abundant snow. Relatively flat terrain ideal for snowkiting. Snow blown by westerly winds. Drifts and packed surfaces alternate.
