Extreme altitude 2,982m — altitude sickness, pulmonary edema possible. Very high avalanche risk in the Beartooth Mountains. Grizzly bears (Yellowstone proximity). Hypothermia and extreme wind chill. Blizzards with total whiteout. Cornices, cliffs, and treacherous terrain. No quick rescue possible. Extreme UV.
