Father Hennepin State Park is a snowkite spot on Mille Lacs Lake, one of Minnesota's largest lakes (536 km²). Its immense frozen surface offers ideal snowkite terrain with exceptional fetch and wind exposure. The state park provides good lake access. Major Minnesota snowkite destination. Season from December to March.
