Tawas Point is a snowkite spot on Lake Huron in Michigan. This sand point extending into the lake offers excellent wind exposure and an open frozen surface. Lake Huron partially freezes in winter offering immense terrain. State park with amenities. Season from December to March.

Check ice thickness imperatively — Lake Huron doesn't always freeze solidly. Current zones with thinner ice. Extreme temperatures. Carry ice safety equipment.
Frozen Lake Huron surface with flat, open terrain. Excellent wind exposure from the point. Variable ice depending on winters. Watch for thinner ice further out.
