Tetonia is a snowkite spot at 1,854m elevation in Teton Valley, on the west side of the Teton Range in eastern Idaho. This agricultural valley offers vast flat snow-covered fields with spectacular views of the Grand Tetons. Winds are channeled by the valley, creating consistent conditions. Popular spot with snowkiters from the Jackson Hole/Teton Valley area. Season from December to March.

Hypothermia from strong winds and intense cold. Blizzards and white-out possible. Barbed wire fences and irrigation ditches hidden under snow. Elk and mule deer frequent. Avalanches possible near mountains — stay on the flat valley. Snow-covered and icy access roads.
Flat snow-covered surface on agricultural fields. Regular snow coverage thanks to Teton Range proximity. Powder to packed snow. Open terrain with panoramic views of the Tetons. Elevation 1,854m with winter temperatures from -20°C to -5°C.
