Overview

Dyranut is one of Norway's most iconic snowkite spots, located on the Hardangervidda plateau at 1234 meters altitude. This vast mountain plateau, the largest in Northern Europe, offers exceptional snowkite conditions with wide open spaces and constant wind. The season generally runs from December to April, with optimal conditions between January and March. The terrain is relatively flat with some natural undulations, ideal for long riding sessions. Access is from the E7 road between Oslo and Bergen. Watch out for rapid weather changes at altitude and reduced visibility during snowfall.
