Rothenberg Nord is a snowkite spot located at 468 meters altitude in the Odenwald, in the municipality of Rothenberg in Hesse. The north side of Rothenberg offers open meadows suitable for snowkiting during winter. This spot is part of the Odenwald snowkite site network, an active region for this discipline in central Germany. The terrain is hilly with sufficiently open areas to allow safe snowkite practice. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west, channeled by the Odenwald valleys. The north side is particularly exposed to south to west winds, making it a good choice in southwest wind conditions.
