Reinheim is a snowkite spot located in southern Hesse, at 216 meters altitude, near Darmstadt. This site offers flat and open terrain suitable for snowkiting during winter snow episodes. Located on the edge of the Odenwald, Reinheim benefits from its proximity to the region's active snowkite community. The relatively low altitude means that snow conditions are less frequent than on the Odenwald heights, but the flat terrain makes riding easier when snow is present. The prevailing wind comes from the southwest to west, typical of the Hesse plains. The site is suited for intermediate riders.
