The Lechfeld is a snowkite spot located in Bavaria, near Augsburg, close to Königsbrunn. This vast alluvial plain of the Lech river, at 512 m altitude, offers large flat and open spaces, ideal for snowkiting and landkiting. The flat and open terrain allows riding in most wind directions. The prevailing winds come from the west and southwest. The Lechfeld is a beginner-friendly spot thanks to the lack of terrain relief and the vast obstacle-free spaces.
