Super Besse is a snowkite spot near the ski resort of the same name on the Sancy massif in the Auvergne volcanoes, at 1301m altitude (Puy-de-DĂ´me). The volcanic plateau landscape offers broad open spaces ideal for snowkiting, with a typically Auvergne wind pattern dominated by West and South-West flows.
The resort infrastructure makes it easy to access, with parking and facilities nearby.
