Exposed summit catching winds from most directions. West and South-West are dominant in winter. North-East "bise" gives excellent steady conditions. Avoid sessions in strong gusty winds from the west without prior experience of the site.
Very exposed summit — rapid weather changes and sudden fog are common. Strong gusts possible at the top. Avalanche risk on steep slopes. Do not venture out in poor visibility. Respect other mountain users.
