Autrans is a snowkite spot located on the Vercors plateau at 1313m altitude, above the village of Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). The plateau offers wide open snowy fields surrounded by forests, with good wind exposure especially from the west and north-west sectors.
