Half Moon Bay Kite Beach is one of the most popular kitesurf spots in Saudi Arabia, located in Ash-Sharqiyah Province on the east coast of the country. The half-moon shaped bay offers semi-sheltered water ideal for kitesurfing. The northwest Shamal is the dominant wind, blowing regularly from November to March. The water is shallow in the bay with a sandy bottom. A very popular spot with the Saudi kite community. Moderate Gulf tides influence conditions.
