Overview

The Spit is a kitesurf spot located on a sand point north of Doha in Qatar. This sand spit offers shallow water on both sides, ideal for sailing. The northwest Shamal blows regularly in winter (November to March). The water is flat and shallow with a sandy bottom. A spot appreciated by local kitesurfers for its consistent conditions and sailing space.
