Ras Al Hadd Lagoon is a kitesurf spot located at the easternmost point of Oman, where the Sea of Oman meets the Persian Gulf. This lagoon offers sheltered water with conditions suited to different levels. Southwest winds (Khareef) blow from June to September. Northeast winds dominate in winter. The lagoon offers flat and shallow water with a sandy bottom. An important area for sea turtles.
