Amwaj Island is a kitesurf spot located on an artificial archipelago northeast of Bahrain, in the Muharraq Governorate. The islands offer several water access points with varied conditions. The northwest Shamal wind blows regularly during winter (November to March). The water is open with a sandy bottom. Gulf tides influence conditions.
