Paya Bay is a kitesurfing spot on the east end of Roatan, near Punta Gorda. The spot is located near Paya Bay Resort, offering a pristine tropical setting with a palm-lined beach.

East to northeast trade winds blow consistently from February to August, with speeds of 15-25 knots. The water is partially protected by the barrier reef, offering moderate chop conditions. Waves can be present beyond the reef.

The spot suits intermediate to advanced riders. Water is warm year-round (25-29°C). The resort also offers yoga, diving, kayaking, and SUP.
