Playa Hermosa is a kitesurfing spot located in a sheltered bay in the Guanacaste province, on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The crescent-shaped beach offers calmer waters than the exposed spots. The north-easterly Papagayo winds create reliable conditions from December to April. The bay partially shelters from waves, making the spot accessible to intermediate riders.
