Playa Grande is a kitesurfing spot located near Tamarindo, on the Pacific coast of Guanacaste. This long golden sand beach is part of the Las Baulas Marine National Park, a leatherback turtle protection zone. The Papagayo winds blow from the north-east between December and April, offering kite conditions with waves. An intermediate spot in a protected natural setting.
