Playa Grande est un spot de kitesurf situé près de Tamarindo, sur la côte Pacifique du Guanacaste. Cette longue plage de sable doré fait partie du Parc National Marino Las Baulas, zone de protection des tortues luth.

Les vents Papagayo soufflent du nord-est entre décembre et avril, offrant des conditions de kite avec vagues. Un spot intermédiaire dans un cadre naturel protégé.
