Neuhaus is a kitesurf spot on the south shore of Thunersee (Lake Thun) in the Bernese Oberland. The lake is fed by thermal winds, notably the Oberländer (west to north-west wind) that blows regularly in the afternoon during summer. The Neuhaus spot is in a relatively open area of the lake, offering good conditions for wind sports. The setting is spectacular with views of the Bernese Oberland peaks, including the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
