Ostional is a kitesurfing spot located on the Pacific coast of the Nicoya Peninsula, in the Guanacaste province. This beach is world-famous for the nesting of olive ridley sea turtles, offering an exceptional natural setting. The north-easterly Papagayo winds blow from December to April. The spot features waves and a wild environment, reserved for intermediate to advanced riders.
