Overview

Jaco is a kitesurfing spot located on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the Puntarenas province. A popular seaside resort, Jaco offers a long grey sand beach with regular waves. Winds are less reliable than on the north coast, but thermal and north-easterly winds allow sessions between December and March. Full tourist infrastructure nearby.
