Overview

El Estero is a kitesurfing spot located in the Guanacaste province, on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The estuary offers calmer waters and a protected body of water, ideal for flat water sessions. The Papagayo winds, blowing from the north-east between December and April, provide reliable and powerful conditions during the dry season.
