Overview

Bahía Salinas - Ecoplaya est l'un des spots de kitesurf les plus célèbres du Costa Rica, situé à l'extrême nord-ouest de la province de Guanacaste. Cette baie bénéficie des puissants vents Papagayo, parmi les plus forts d'Amérique centrale.

De décembre à avril, les vents du nord-est soufflent régulièrement entre 20 et 35 nœuds, créant des conditions exceptionnelles. Le plan d'eau de la baie offre du flat à du petit clapot selon le vent.
