Caye Chapel is a small private island between Caye Caulker and Belize City, offering beginner-friendly kitesurfing conditions. The island benefits from the same northeast to east trade winds as other Belize cayes, with speeds of 15-25 knots from November to May.

The water is protected by the barrier reef, offering flat water conditions with shallow, warm water year-round. The sandy bottom and absence of strong currents make it a safe spot.

Access is limited as the island is private. Launching is mainly done from a boat, as is often the case in Belize due to the lack of suitable beaches.
