Erlen is a spot on Sihlsee, Switzerland's largest artificial lake, located in the canton of Schwyz at 887 m altitude. Sihlsee is about 9 km long and offers good conditions for kitesurfing and wingfoiling. Thermal winds develop regularly in summer. The lake is surrounded by green hills and offers a pleasant pre-alpine setting. The water is relatively warm in summer for a mountain lake.
