Cam Ranh Bay is a large, deep natural bay in Khanh Hoa Province, south of Nha Trang. The bay is sheltered by a long peninsula and faces east, receiving NE monsoon winds from November to April.

An intermediate spot. The bay's size provides a large riding area with relatively calm waters thanks to the natural shelter. Sandy bottom with warm, clear water. The area is developing as a resort destination. Wind can be gusty as it funnels through gaps in the surrounding hills. Some military zones in the bay should be avoided.
