Mai Khao Beach is the longest beach in Phuket, located on the northwest coast. During the SW monsoon (May-Oct), it receives strong onshore winds and waves. The beach is less developed and less crowded than southern beaches. Strong currents and waves make it suitable for advanced riders only.
