Overview

Bang Tao Beach is a long, wide beach on Phuket's west coast, home to the Laguna resort complex. During the SW monsoon (May-Oct), it receives good wind and waves for kitesurfing. The northern end of the beach tends to be less crowded and better for kiting. Conditions can include waves and shore break.
