Ao Phrao (Paradise Beach) is the only beach on the west coast of Koh Samet in Rayong Province. Unlike the east-facing beaches, Ao Phrao faces west toward the mainland, making it more sheltered from the northeast monsoon but potentially rideable with SW winds during summer months.

The spot suits intermediate riders. It is a small, quiet bay with calm waters and a sandy bottom. The beach is less developed and less crowded than the eastern beaches. Wind conditions are less consistent than the east coast during the main NE monsoon season.
