Koh Mak is a small, quiet island in the Trat archipelago in eastern Thailand, between Koh Chang and Koh Kood. The island's beaches face various directions, offering some wind exposure during the northeast monsoon from November to March.
This is a calm, uncrowded spot suited for intermediate riders looking for a peaceful island setting. The waters are shallow with a sandy bottom. Wind is not as consistent as mainland spots, but when the NE monsoon is strong, sessions are possible on the western and southern beaches.
