White Sand Beach is located on the northwest coast of Koh Chang, Thailand's second-largest island in Trat Province near the Cambodian border. The beach faces west and benefits from the northeast monsoon winds from November to March, which wrap around the island providing rideable conditions.
The spot is best for intermediate riders. The long sandy beach offers decent launching space, though the area can be busy with tourists during high season. Waves are generally small and the water is warm year-round. The northeast monsoon provides the most consistent wind for kitesurfing.
